Herb Grinder...?

Hey guys, would you recommend getting an herb grinder? I've never used one, but I've seen them used and they seem pretty helpful. Are there any downsides to them like, do you lose a lot of trichomes to the grinder as it's breaking them up?

i would recommend one, they make rolling a joint/blunt or packing a bowl 10x easier/faster

Ya its good for conservation too cause u only smoke what u need to get high, where if u were breaking it up by hand its in bigger chunks so u smoke more. These are really good for brickweed or dense nugs too.

get one, get a nice one that'll catch the keif and you'll be happy.

I've never been big on kief catchers/pollen presses until recently, when I purchased my own grinder with a kief catcher. It is AMAZING! After grinding up 3-4 bowls worth of weed I had enough kief at the bottom of the catcher to scrape up with a razor blade and plop on top of my last bowl for the night. It was awesome.

yeah man get a chromium crusher, they are simply awesome and low cost.

yeah the chromium crusher on ebay rips weed to shreds and has a big size kief compartment. plus it's like 20 bucks...crappy ones from headshops cost that.

when i got my first grinder the old hippie guy was like, "this is the best (marijuana related) investment you'll make other than buying the stuff itself." he was definitely right. it takes like a minute to break up a blunt in one. i grind my weed twice and shake it around in there to make sure i get as much kief as i can. i get a lot more that way.

thats almost the dumbest thing ive ever heard a stoner say, even if you are just smoking bowls its good,you dont have to use as much weed because it smokes more efficiently. I always grind my weed no matter what im smoking with its just the smart thing to do.:smokebong::rastabanna:

Shit yeah grinders are good.....i didnt buy a specialist grinder i just got a coffee grinder for $20 from kmart. :D Does the job nicely.

i wouldnt recommend its a waste of money i like to cut the buts with really sharp scissors weed always stuck in my grinder and i had to scrape ot out with scissors.but to each there own just keep blazin.

i use mine for every thing and it has a pollen catcher

coffee grinders are the shit use that for bulk also good for stems all the keif will stick to the lid with bud or stems and its alot of it :thumbsup:

my grinder is the only thing i have had taken up i have had it since i was 16 i am 20 now kannostor it was the most expensive at the head shops around here

ive had a few grinders so far, but i get mine from a head shop so there only like 5-10 euros for one. i would recommend a wooden one they have a thighter fit so they stay together even if you drop it while grinding, i had a golf ball one that was magnetized and it wasnt bad i juss threw in my golf bag to hide it, easy enough. but i have seen grinders that are made so u grind the bud so fine that u only get the powder, so smoth btw. but those are like normal grinders with a thin screen at the bottom that goes to a bottom that comes off. but me i i juss grind it into powder.

but hey do yall mix your bud with tobacco?
over here we do and sometimes i grind both, ive never had a better j haha
but good luck man, if your in a pince just use razor blades, that what i do right now.

Grinders are the best- I have a small wooden one that hold about 2g. It's used daily and it's still working perfect 5 years later! I don't remember what it's like not to have it-cuts blunt rolling to 60seconds!
