Not very big. If you've never seen weed before you'll probably be surprised at how small everything is. My first time I bought an eighth and I thought it was nothing lol.
Just make sure you have your dealer weigh it in front of you. Most dealers should have electric scales with them when selling shit.

it's pretty rare for a dealer to haul a scale around, at least in my neck of the woods. When you carry a scale and get caught with any bud, it's "intent to distribute" which is a felony in my state and prolly most other conservative states.

That's weird, my dealer always has a scale in his car and measures everything infront of you to make sure you don't get ripped off. Well, uh I guess just bring along a friend that smokes so you don't get ripped off.

how come you don't know how much a gram is, when you already bought weed? Unless you bought less than 1G, which is nearly nothing.

if a single nug, and not compressed tightly in a bag, 1 gram should prolly be about the size of a medium-medium small strawberry.

when broken up, it should look like enough to roll 1 fat jay or about 2 cigarette size jays with maybe a bowl left over.

1 dollar weighs exactly 1g so put a dollar in one hand and the herb in the other. If they feel about the same...your good to go. Also a nick = 5g or $5 because five $1 bills = 5g :jointsmile: you learn something new every day haha.

Tom, allow me to put some intelligence your way since nobody else on this board seems to want to.

A gram can look alot of different ways. I usually come across brick weed, it is highly compressed and I've seen pieces that weigh an oz actually set comfortably in my palm.

Yet a while after we came across some nice fluffy buds and I was fucked, used to with the brick I could eyeball no problem but with this stuff I was well under.

Best advice is to take a scale, yeah its risky but if your dealer doesn't have one then you don't want to get ripped off and also most baggies add about .5 grams or so to the weighed so weigh it out of the bag, your buying 1g of weed, not .5 of weed and .5 of a baggie.
