Alright not to sound stupid, but I've heard Drinking lots of the water cleans out your system? Is this true? I excercise daily, play sports, and have was just wondering on the water idea? I smoked nearly ever day last month, and havent smoked in about 25 days now. My drug test for probation is coming up in the next week. So (30) days free of pot. :stoned: Anyway I was just wondering if the water actually flushes your system or what? I drink about 2 gallons a day (Yes I said 2 gallons as in 256 ounces a day)

*Note..
I'm
Male / Only 125 lbs / Hardly any body fat

Water doesn't flush your system of thc,it will flush other things out but not thc. Read the dillution thread and do that the morning of the test.

I'm similar size to you and very little body fat. Extremly high metabolism. Drinking lots of water before wont do anything really until the day of the test. I was clean 14 days and was able to pass a home test with a dilution and creatine.

Being 25-30 days clean of a simliar size to me, just pick up a Pharmatech home test at The Wall, use your first void of the morning (midstream), if you pass that you are money in the bank. (and probably will). Only will cost you 15 bux.

So drinking all this water does nothing? I could have swore drinking water was the only effective way to clean out your system.

I have experiance with this, water will not flush the THC out of your system only time will, What it does do is if you drink alot of water prior to a drug test (urin only) it dilutes your urin so much that only very small trace amounts are detectable, well below the level of a positive, the companies that perform these tests for employers want to protect there reputation and have threshold of a certain ppm before the tell an employer you tested positive. Anything below that is a negitve. I have passed several tests by drinking a gallon of water 2 hours before a test.

Jerry thanks for the response. I'm almost possitive my urine is diluted, as I urine now, I've drank so much water in the last month it's a solid clear color. I'm also going to try the thick syrup method, then drinking water to hold some of the thc levels down even more. Only thing I'm concerned with is my urine is going to be so clear when I take the test I'm hoping she doesnt suspect anything.

In the past though my probation officer has commented and said after I got done taking a test, that, "my urine is to yellow, I need to start drinking more water." LOL As if she wanted me to drink more water.

Sounds like she was giving you a hint. There are 2 things you do before any drug test.
Drink lotts of water and never give first morning urin or close to it.

One more thing I need to add to this is DO NOT EXERCIZE BEFORE A TEST. When exercizing you burn fat cells that contain the thc in your system increasing your likelyhood of getting a positve.

To add to that. If your urine is coming out clear they may have a visual suspicion of being diluted. Drinking gatoraide and poweraide will help with raising creatinine levels (or you could take a creatine suppliment). As everyone said, water days before hand wont make a difference and doesn't "flush" other than time.

Be careful with a negative dilute, some companies consider that a failure. To get to a nice yellow color, take some Vitamin B2 the morning of about an hour or two before. Void a few times (2-3) and by then you should start coming out vitamin yellow. That will pass the visual and give no concerns for worry. Add the creatine in and you will make sure that your specific gravity is correct as well and lessen chances for having a negative dilute.

To explain negative dilute, thats when the test shows negative results (pass) however, there is an abnormality in the specific gravity (from water loading) that shows you attempted to fool the test. Clear piss will also do that. I think your levels have to be above 20ng/ml to not show a negative dilute. Read the sticky on dilution, follow it, you will probably be money in the bank. Again, your time, weight, metabolism, etc may let you just pass naturally without a dilute. Or get away with a bottle or two of gatorade in the morning of your test.

I will also add taking Asprin (NOT ADVIL! NOT ALEVE! NOT TYLONOL! JUST ASPRIN!) will also help, about 4 hours before the test. Again, the dilution sticky is *very* helpful.

WOW Stndcoder!!! You have all kinds of incorrect information in your post. Please stop.

No they don't. Sports drinks are preferred over water or other fluids because of the salts and thus help with specific gravity, not creatinine clearance.

Most companies use lab testing and thus color is insignificant unless it is black, green, purple, etc. The original OP is getting tested for probation which means it may be an instant test. This is the least harmful part of your post.

That was completely wrong. Specific gravity and creatinine clearance are used to test for dilution. This value of 20 ng/ml being used to compute specific gravity that you gave is wrong. Creatinine clearances below 20 mg/ml may result in a dilute test. Specific gravity is measured by density, not 20 ng/ml. For instance, pure water has a density of 1.000. I forgot the values for the accepted ranges on specific gravity of urine but it's not 20 ng/ml.

You know what is "money in the bank?" Not smoking while on probation. Stndcode it is irresponsible for you to tell someone that they are going to be money in the bank when they smoked almost every day for the last month. Granted he has 25 days clean and is low bodyfat and doing a lot of aerobic activity but you can't tell someone they will be money in the bank with that smoking history.

Just in case you didn't notice, Im a moderator and one of my specialties is helping people pass their drug tests. Enjoy your vacation.

Notice how unlike you, I didn't call you any names. I just pointed out flaws in the info posted and commented on what was posted. I never attacked the person like you just did so see you around sometime next year.

Good job, FBR! People should refrain from posting unless they are 100% sure of the information they are posting. Better to give no advice than give bad advice.
