I have always said this...I believe it to be true...it seems the most hurtful things you can hear or say are the truth...or at least a distorted view of the truth. lol

I think lies hurt much more than the truth. :(
Lies do more damage.
You gotta be able to handle the truth!

Yes, truth is a whole powerful entity and we are vulnerable to it until we die.

Lies are a part of truth, but different in that they are used to stabilize an association for the purpose of profit, disregarding social consideration.

I understand what your saying..lies are very hurtful...

but I am talking about a different kind of truth..the truth that no one wants to hear about themselves...the truth that no one tells...like, the person who talks to much..the person that eats to much...the bogart, the selfish, the greedy...
Honestly, I relish the truth and the power that it holds.

I've put a lot of thought into what you speak of, I've always wondered about the truth behind people, their behaviors, language, decisions, self-esteem, concept, etc. I can only see people as animals, that's the best I can describe it.

The truth about us is we are here for ourselves and we don't care about anyone else. The strict laws of conformity we follow only holds down our inner-aggression sealed deep where we would rather keep it, away from harming anyone else. We know that people are nasty creatures and we need laws for safety. Have you ever really observed someone's voice and see the vocals of man as animal like? I remember a time when I was a baby that people sounded and looked similar to animals, and I finally realized this until a couple weeks ago.

Open yourself to truth and be closer to death.

I hope you don't find this question offensive, but are you religious or spiritual?

I also agree, the truth can be a killer. But I'd much rather know the truth than hear lies. Another thing being, no matter how hurtful the truth is I guess it will always help you become a better person.

Because I will not bend the truth at all, peoples feelings get hurt around me. I do not give a shit, I am honest. Brutally honest.
The truth is what hurts.
I like telling the truth now but, I was one of those chronic liars that could not tell you the truth even if it was easier just because I liked lieing.
I was a thief also and would steal from you then help you look for what I stole.
Now I find lieing and thievery disgusting.

Definitely spiritual, not religious.

The truth can make one better in the sense they will be more aware of what is, than what's being portrayed.

Truth hurts like the end of a marathon.
Lies hurt like getting your leg sawed off.

Just my personal opinion.
