...with this area and my own native paranoia.
What is it about this area that makes us so hesitant to even mention in passing this stuff?

I honestly can't remember the last time I got nice and lit and just chilled out watching some star trek (my old favorite choice of things to do after burnin one), and now that I have a few perfect days of solitude I'm too much of a chicken shit to go out and find someone to hook up with.

Is there something in the Pennsylvania air that makes us so paranoid?

One freaking joint. Oh well.

Yea, the commonwealth is terrible to live in. And on top of it, it seems a lot of people in PA feel "entitled" to things. I don't know why this is, i've met so many people that feel, if you have something nice, they feel they deserve it too. Some will even go as far as to steal it from you.

5 year plan, move to Oregon. PA Sucks.

Aww. It's not all bad here. Just depends on what part you're from.

From McKeesport, and even though I know there's prolly some nice weed out there, I'm too much the paranoid to try and find a new contact. Even here, where things can be worded to say what you want to say without actually saying it (yes, I'm f'ing even worried about website incrimination lol), I lurk way way more than I post.
I lost track of my one friend I'd always smoke with when I moved out of the area, so now I drink a few beers and wish like hell it was a nice joint.
Ah well. Perhaps one day I'll find that guy again. had some amazing bud.

All this paranoia nonsense is in your head(s). This has nothing to do with where you live. Be the change you want to see.

You're right, and it is.
I'm trying to do just what you suggest, visualize the change and fit myself into that mindset.
If anything else, I'm learning patience, and that's never a bad thing.

I'm going to join Pittsburgh NORML and meet like-minded people there.
