sticky brown gue on straw from lightbulb vape

so after maybe 10 or 15 lightbulb vape bowls i was changing the straw out, and noticed that the very end of the straw, the last 1/2 - 1 inch. the part that sticks into the bulb. it had a little very thin inch long line of brown gue that smells exactly like my green dragon, and my research told me is prolly pure cannabis oil.. very sticky guey thc. so should i try to somehow scrape it off, i dont know if there is enough. maybe i could just take a nug and try to drag the nug across the straw, like dipping a tostito but trying to like get the sticky gue to stick to the nug... i dunno. advice?

well i dont know anything about oil, it might be. anyway if you wanna collect that goo then why not just cut that inch of the straw off, then cut it again to open the straw making 2 half circles. then take a blade and scrape it off.. i wouldnt put it on the nug, but on top of a bowl rather..

actually first off make sure its the oil, i mean i dont want you to go through all this for just resin

that shit is too sticky... its not coming off the inside of the straw with a blade...

i thought to use isopropyl to get it to come off, but the straw is plastic and i know the alcohol would lift nasty platicides and ink from the straw too. yuk.

if its a thin straw just cut it down the middle so it opens, and take a razor blade and scrap that shit, but you have to mix it with tabacco for a high and to get it off your fingers and blade. but hey how often do you change the straw and how much have you smoked out of it, the more the merrier haha

I get the same kind of buildup on my slider pieces. Normally some hot ass water from the tap will break it up. It's just resin.

I've never smoked it, though.. It would probably be really gross.

I'd suggest just throwing it away.

i thought that in a vaporizer though, since you don't have any smoke, just vapor, that there wouldn't be any resin buildup?

i use my boyfriends HerbalAir, and he said he saw some resin inside as well... what gives?

That's DEAD wrong. He hasn't combusted anything so it isn't the same at all.

The poster is correct, the "goo" is pretty much like Honey oil.

Collecting it might be tricky - think ahead and use a glass part to replace the plastic.

Next time, you can warm the glas (with a lighter) from the outside and use something like a pin to collect the resulting warmed oil. Drop it on top of a bowl if you smoke - or use it to coat fresh weed in your next vape session.

Recycle for the Big Win :D

It has been prolly 40 bowls since I have changed the straw, now there is a good bit more of this pure cannabis oil building up on the inside of the bulb as well as the straw. I am letting it build for a bit, the more there is, the easier it will be to somehow extract. peace

i smoke res whenever i get to clean a piece, sure its a bit less healthy but if u consider the amount of times ull find ur self smokin res (only done when its a last resort personaly) is much slimmer than that of just smokin weed

when u do its just tar (carbon) and thc residual, and plenty of it, i know when i got a sizeable nug of res(when smoked with 1 other person) im a good 7.5 out of 10 (stoned scale) which would typically take me at least 3 big bowls of weed. fuck ur pompousness, its a good, free high. or are u better than me bc u pay more to get high:yeahright:
