Crystals on the weed, hairs dont mean shit, stickiness is sometimes on good weed but iv had some chronic that wasnt sticky so it doesnt have to be. uhh smoke it if you really wanna know

yeah, the g i just picked up today has a lot of white crystals on it and is very sticky, i had to scrape it off my fingers with tweezers and put it in the bag

Well, if there are no hairs, then that means the bud was ABUSED! I have had great weed that I thought was garbage and great looking stuff that was garbage.

how does one tell if weed is dank?

what is dankness? the definition is "unpleasantly moist or wet". so the first step to knowing is moisture. If your weed is dry and crumbly and shitty then it is not dank.

dank is a stupid word for good weed anyway, in my opinion

Actually dank is a word that refers to moisture. It's usually referring to cellars, as in "That's a pretty dank cellar". Most likely it was taken as slang to mean good buds.

the best way to tell is to smoke it.
but you're mainly looking for crystals
most good bud will have alot of sticky crystals!!!
