how do you guys store your pipes, i put mine in a ziplock and in my drawer then a few days later opened up myd rawer and it reeked of smoke/skunk and everything inside was permeated with the smell. I tried to clean the pipe before i stored it but it still smelled. So how do you guys store it.

I just keep mine in a little leather pouch that I lined with some padded cloth foam stuff. Sits right on my PC desk in plain sight.

pieces stink. dont bother trying to zip lock them. just leave it on your table or whatever. you actually notice the smell least if you leave it in the open.

I just put it in my drawer with all my other shit. The only time I smell weed when I open the drawer is if I have a good bit of really strong bud. The pipe never effects the smell I don't think...

In most cases its not about what YOU smell.... its about what OTHER people smell i.e. parents, officers, etc etc

I keep mine in a drawer in my bathroom thats well treated wood so the smell doesnt seep through

I have a pretty small pipe, and what I do actually works REALLY well. And I even store up to an ounce with the pipe.

I got a thermos at wal-mart that my pipe fits inside. I take two squareish paper towels (I say squarish, because some people have the rolls that cut the paper towel sheets in half size normal ones) and wrap it up like a sandwich. I stuff it alone with my ounce in the thermos. Oddly enough, the actual serious thermos lid does very little to stop the smell from seeping out, but the cup/bowl attachment for like coffee or soup stops the smell well. I'll admit it is a little labor intensive, but it works amazingly well.

I attached a picture of a similar model to my thermos.

I have a incense burner with a closable top and I just stick it in there. There are little holes in it so I don't have to worry about build up smell and then I store my incense sticks in there they do a great job of masking the smell. I live in my own house and leave it out with ash in it waiting a lot but I do have several non-cannabis friendly visitors that I have to clean up for a couple times a week.

For some reason I have found that a good cloth bag or better yet a leather bag with cloth lining does a better job then plastic at covering the smell. When I used to live at home I would wash my cloth bag dry it with like 6 dryer sheets the dryer with it and then put 2 folded in the bottom, similar consept to a spoof, and you never smelled anything as long as I washed it at least once a month and changed the dryer sheets each week.

I would think in your situation I think a leather bag with a couple dryer sheets in the bottom closed up should work just fine, just make sure to open the drawer everyday or so so that if it does smell it doesn't have a chance to build up, in a crawer build up is the main problem. My parents never once caught me smokin up high or found any of my paraphernalia in the 4 years I lived there and to this day do not know that I smoke, let alone grow, and they're here all the time.

the nalgene watter bottles work well too. i know a couple people who keep their ounces in those and it stays smell proof. The hole is big enough to where you can wrap your pipe up and put it in there. however i think most are clear.

I got all mine in a wooden box that's covered in Spider Man stickers from like 1993 that my brother made in shop class. :p I store all my pices in there and is quite full with a bubbler, a sherlock bubbler, 2 glass chilliums, 4 glass spoons, a bong, a steamroller, and vaporizor that I never use.

I have a little wooden box I bought at a New age shop, I kept it in a cloth bag, in the box, but I didnt see the need after awhile, the box has a tight closeing lid, and it dosent let the smell out

I did that over the summer. I worked at a summer camp, and the Nalgene is the least suspicious thing I can carry. If I came walking out of the woods high as shit, and carrying a Nalgene filled with my pot, lighter, pipe and a few other goodies, no one would even question it.

But now I just keep my pipe in a little felt/padded slip case with a draw string. I can keep my pipe and a spare lighter in there no problem. I can even store about 2gs in a cylindrical match holder and stash it in there. No smells at all and far less labor intensive than the Nalgene.
