depends on where your plannin in living in cali... housing is pretty expensive all over except for some places. I live in SD and pay anywhere from 700-1000 for a 1 bedroom apartment and 500-700 for a 2 bedroom. The prices fluxuate all over depending on where exactly your trying to rent; i live in escondido and san marcos is pretty much the same pricing.

I think Butte County is still the 'poorest' county in California ... it was when I moved up here (and, that's why, a bit more affordable, and beautiful countryside) ... and, Butte County at least respects the MJ laws ... they bust big commercial grows up here, worked by Mex illegals mostly, but leave the Med-users alone, so far ... here is a good website for getting the statistics on towns and cities ... very helpful ... Sperling's BestPlaces (http://www.bestplaces.net/) ... :smokin:

thats roughly the same as here in Butte County, in the small cities, anyway ... cheaper up in the hills, IF you're lucky enough to find vacancies ...

not much in Stirling City but tweekers, methlabs, and probably some undiscovered bodies ... its Butte County's 'safe haven' for parolees, etc ... good place to avoid IMHO :smokin:

bicflicr, if you move to Stirling City, be ready to replace all your valuables frequently, because the tweekers will pillage your home whenever ya leave it ... bastards would steal a fire hydrant, if they thought they could sell it :wtf:
