Hello all, this is my first post and my first plant at home. I have helped with others. I am using an water culture system (http://www.simplyhydro.com) and I have some questions. I am building the grow box in an â??attic-like roomâ? which is basically just a room thatâ??s upstairs and is part of the attic. The room is fairly large but is not connected with the Air conditioner. I was wondering if I could intake the air from the room or would I need to take fresh air from the house or outside?

It is better to take air from another room as the air inside the house is more constant in term of temperature and humidity.

To start off attics make very poor growing areas due the extream temp flucuations, I see you live in Texas so temps this time of year can vary from cold to almost hot so outside air is not a good option. If the ceiling in this space is not insulated you may want to insulate it with R19 or greater insulation, then you may be able to cool the space with air from the other room. If there is a window in this space you may consider a window a/c unit but this will more than likely need a seperate power source then the wall outlet.

I hope this helps you and BOL.
