Now the guy will have a record, difficulty finding work, and the child suffers as a result. What a system, making him a criminal for smoking weed and trying to get a job.

Cops: Man used son to take drug test

A Centereach man was arrested Wednesday morning after he took his 9-year-old son out of school so the boy could provide urine for a pre-employment drug test, Suffolk police said.

The 36-year-old dad took his son to a parking lot behind a deli on Floyd Road in Shirley at about 10:20 a.m. to get the urine for a drug test with a trucking company, police said.

Seventh Precinct Officers Robert Jernick and Ryan Sefton were on patrol when they saw the child fixing his pants and watched as the father poured something from a coffee cup, police said. When the officers approached them, the boy told police he'd been taken out of school and asked to urinate in the cup, police said.

The father, whose name is being withheld to protect the son's identity, admitted he needed the urine for the test, police said.

"He was remorseful, telling the truth," Sgt. Stephen Guyer said.

Officers found a marijuana pipe with some weed inside the father's Ford Explorer, police said. He was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The boy was handed over to his mother and Child Protective Services was notified, Guyer said. The father was being held overnight at the Seventh Precinct pending his arraignment in First District Court Thursday.

Blah blah blah, the police said. Blah blah blah blah blah-blah, the police said. The police said this, the police said that. Wow, good journalism. Just quote everything from the police.

This guy lives in my Town! Poor bastard! Should have had the kid do it earlier before school refrigerated it. And then taped it to his leg to warm it up on the way to the interview. Not that I would know or anything!

He was probably told after his kid went to school, when I drove tow truck for awhile you would show up to work and then be told to go immediately to the drug testing facility, we always kept quick fix in the truck so I never pulled my kid out lol, not that I would.

Yeah this guy was definitely no rocket scientist. He could have at least taken the kid into a rest room so it didn't look so suspicious.
If your going to smoke, smoke smart.

Dude, I remember this guy from a few weeks ago in the drug testing forum. He was all worried about how to store the urine and keeping it the right temperature. We all told him just to PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE but no he was too lazy. He told us he was just going to take his son with him and have him donate it there in the parking lot and run inside. Everyone told him it was a bad idea. He should have listened.

JUST KIDDING!!!!
