I just got a 400 watt hps light. I live in a small town and they always do fly overs in the summer looking for herb growing. does anyone know if the heliclopters are equiped with heat sensors or if they are just searching for stuff growing outside? i dont know if iam being paranoid but id just like to know. thanks.

forget that, don't ever trouble yourself with it again ... just an example of something being blown up all out of proportion, and spread by rumors ...

under a 400w you may as well have your oven cooking or a very overheated attic, and it would show more. if they are looking, its for farmers fields style groops

meh. none the less, anything under a 1000watts is not likely to produce much notucable heat if is in a basement.
