Does anyone smoke a tobacco pipe?

I started when I was in the Navy. I was tired of all these kids bumming cigs off me and frankly I wasn't enjoying them anymore anyway so I orded a pipe and a bunch of tobacco online. Now I have a bunch of pipes and usually smoke one or two in the evening. It's a great, relaxing thing and not nearly as bad for you as cigs. You don't inhale it answering the question I know you're all going to ask.
Most of the pipe smokers I know smoke differenf exotic blends however I just stick with Captain Black. It's easy to get, elatively cheap and every time I light one up somebody comments on how good it smells.
Come to think of it, I think I'll have one right now.

I love the smell of old school pipe smoke. It reminds me of when I was a kid living just outside Boston and we had an older couple who lived across the street- Jim and Jeanne- and they had a screened porch with astroturf carpeting and a TON of potted plants, and they'd sit out there on summer evenings, Jeanne with a book and Jim with his pipe and the paper, and the whole end of the street had this faint aroma of pipe smoke. They were my favorite neighbors ever, real old-schoolers who kept lemonade and cookies for the kids in the neighborhood, and taught me how to identify all the birds that came to their many bird feeders.

I have also always liked the smell of pipe tobacco..just a really chilled smell..

I used to smoke an old pipe that used to be my grandfathers. I used St Bruno in it, but i've quit all the tobacco now. Apart from the occasional cigar. I like a good cigar.

I smoke a pipe now and then. My brother in law likes cigars, so when the family gets together a group of us got into a habit of having cigers together. I decided to try a pipe instead and I liked it better. So it is nice, but usually I only smoke it when we get together. The sad truth is that it smells a lot better than it tastes, so people around you almost enjoy it more.

Yes. In fact, I have quit cigarettes, I think for the final time, and have been enjoying cigars and pipes more often. I thought I had lost my last tobacco pipe, which devastated me, so I bought another one a few weeks back from a local Tinder Box. It came with a free ounce of tobacco, and they happened to have a type called "Da Vinci", which was actually soaked in a Chianti called "Da Vinci." Well fuck... I had just happened to get that very bottle the week before, so I got that tobacco.. its a light cavendish.. excellent smooth smoke. I actually got another bottle of that Chianti last night.. and I still have a couple of those Cuban and Puerto Rican cigars my dad brought back from St. Lucia..... hmm.... :D

This thread is makin me wanna go home when I just fuckin got here lol. There is nothing like killing a bottle of dark red, smoking cigars and pipes, and... well whatever else the fuck you wanna do after that. They make any activity better. Except(for disclaimers' sake) driving.

Ashleys mom gave me a TV, and Ashley gave me her DVD player... I think its movie time :D
