If you mean that you feel as if you are watching yourself when you are high then that does happen. I feel like I am watching myself in a movie. It's cool.

when you say that you have a 3rd person view do you mean that you actually see your body as if you are having an out of body experience? like you are above your body watching down on what is going on?

also, i just learned about knife hits about a week ago, is this a healthy way to smoke? or is it similar to smoking out of a soda can?

I feel that way sometimes, when I'm ripped. I had it in extreme, one of the first times I had ever smoked. It was like my conscious thought was no longer coming from my head, and I was above myself

I've felt it before when I got REALLY ripped. This is when I was younger and I was a bit uncomfortable with it. It doesn't happen anymore. :(

I get wierd tunnel vision a lot, it's like being a few feet behind where I actually am, but I'm still in my body.

One time while trippin' I was laying on the grass underneath the stars. i remember saying to my buddy "I am the universe and the universe is me" than I started getting real deep.. almost too deep... started thinking about reality, who am I sorta shit, ya know.. and I was conciously viewing myself from someplace higher.. my hands, legs, my whole body wasnt me at all.. they were just another part of the material world.. but not me, I felt way out of my body.. as if the outter world, including myself was just a cooperative manifestation of our inner selves.. strange shit..

I try to constantly see myself as the third person..
sometimes it's easier to notice feelings and thoughts that way
and its easier to turn the steering wheel and shift directions

Wow...i've never found someone who understood what I meant when I said I was seeing myself in 3rd person view.
after the experience, that was the only term I could think of to best describe the feeling.
It was absolutely amazing (yet a bit scary at the time, since I was walking on crowded streets - thankfully not alone) and I'm pretty sure I haven't had one like that since

I've had the video game feeling, especially after playing a shooter like Halo 3. But when it comes to third person I tend to view the world like that anyway. Not in the sense that I can literally see myself but in the sense that I know everything that's going on in front of me, next to me, and even behind me.
