does color matter?

just got some weed and it smells like the greatest thing ever. i put it in two plastic bags and can still smell it through it. but the color looks like its been sitting behind a couch for a year. does color matter?

i wouldn't say that looks are everything. I find that smell is a little more reliable then the looks, but ya the only real way is to smoke that.:jointsmile:

I agree if its smelling strong its good shit but the best way to test is to smoke it.

I mean it may not be really good but it will get you stoned and that is why you outlayed the money to do so. :thumbsup:

I've had weed that had a few orange hairs on it and was light green/tan or something and looked dry, but wasn't. It was some of the best bud I've ever had. It had a strong, minty piney smell that was great. It was some of the best tasting I've had as well. So I agree, looks aren't everything. Just smoke it and give us a report on the high. That's all that matters.

Just because bud is brown doesnt mean its bad bud. Its what happens to bud when its cured for a long time. Even thought its brown it can still be some of the dankest bud out there.

You can't judge a book by it's cover, and I finally learned the same applies to weed. I had the impression that brown weed wasn't good and so did my cousin. So when he just gave me some brown weed because he said he wouldn't even smoke brown weed, I said what the hell and smoked it for shits and giggles. I smoked a whole joint and what ensued was essentially me tripping my balls off. After that, I never judge by color.
