Hey just introducing myself to the board. I love chemistry, enjoy growing projects, I'm a student, and Ireland Has no leprechauns well at least not when I'm clean:).I live close to newgrange/dowth/knowth which are 5000 year old (we think burial places) that also doubles as a indictator of the winter solstice..There are many theories to as why they where built but the one I most enjoy is that the inhabitants of the village near it liked magic mushrooms a bit to much hehe...this is backed up by the fact that on many of the stones there are weird spirals and other shapes that seem to be induced by psilocybin shrooms. Although I never tried them so I can't put my own personal twist to it:(. There is also a 18th century castle, a medieval bridge that is still in use today! oh and st patricks is said to of lit a fire on slane( a village ) hill to rid the country of snakes ...but there never where any to begin with ..maybe it was a metaphor for evil ..there is now a monastry set up by a guy called shlaine, there that is uber freaky to be in when bonged/ whacked/ toasted etcetera.

so that's it from me and hello again

so thats it from me

st patrick brought christianity and drove away paganism (snakes), eires history is steeped in mushrooms, they found evidence of this outside many old monasteries (book of kells anyone), and bertie ahern is a great man (not), and irelands now one of the most expensive places in europe, yahay!
buts its all good really as long as u have a bit of craic..........
