Ok, here is the worlds most stupid question. I am growing and started with seeds, but my one question is what do I do with the "harvest" when its ready? I have no intention of using it, I was just growing for the experience.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do with the yield?

do u even know what a "harvest" is, cause if you did then you would know that you get "weed" out of it. And my suggestion for the yield is make it into hash, seeing as how you dont know what the fuck you are talking about.

Hey
i ask a bit more respect here. when you harvested the plant you cut it and hang it downwars in a dark place. After 3 or 4 days, bend a branch if it does a "snap" its dry and you can store it in Mason jars, if it doesnt snap, let it dry another day or two. When you store the buds in a mason ar be shure they are dry, because your buds wil mold and this mold can cause lung infection. So during the first week of storing (be shure to use gentle pressure to store the buds in the jars, to eliminate the most of the air, if the jars is not totally full, place a circle of paper over the buds and fill the rest with cotton) get out the buds so there is no more moist in it. After this week you can store the jar in a dark place (light degrades THC). And after 2 months you will have the best buds around the neiborhood. Remember that the longer you cure them (storing is the famous curing) the better the buds will be in taste and high ;).
so thats it i hope this will help see ya peace all ;)

yep yep :)
ive also heard you can cure using water in the jars, but its for bud that wasent cured right the first time so you have to re-dry it after. I dont know if that can be done though, supposedly water wont mess with the THC crystals o.0 Anyone else heard of this?

Hey
The water thing is messing me up a bit. If i use my knoledje correcly il try to put a therory (do not experiment il write while i think so theres maybe some litle things): When the buds dryes the cells uses the rest of the sap to survive, then when the buds is entirely dry the cells are dead, so if you put water again it will just put the buds wet and will deteriorate, maybe result in a paste or something, almost hash looking...:D but you need to filtrate the thing. The trichomes will not be dammaged in the process because in hashmaking you can use a blender to crush the buds and make it slushy so....[thinking]......in a way you cant cure incorrecly, even if so its because the buds are too dry (they crumble into powder) then you can add some lettuce to give some humidity without affecting the taste and high. The basic is simple: too dry -> lack of humidity = add humidity without affecting the aste smocability and potency and without adding mold (can cause lung infection...pretty bad thing).
Humm anyway.........

theres only one type of mold that can give you lung disease, and it comes from a fungus off of bark[wood], so if your dryin anywhere near a rotting tree or wood, best watch out!

I see what your saying...but not sure I totally agree. I tried this 1-2 days ago with a small bit of water and small nug and it took like 2 hours (maybe less) to dry in my little wooden box. I looked at it and it seemed fine, thc and the greens. I smoked it and it seemed better. But what do I know, it coulda been bad for it.
I cant say ive ever heard of using lettuce to add moisture to pot, lol. Please do tell me about this. Or any other methods you may have.

All you do to re-hydrate dryed out weed is put a medium size piece of lettuce in your hand, crumble it up once and then put into the bag with the weed overnight and take out in the morning. You can gain about almost an 1/8 overnight by rehydrating a dryed out 1/2 ounce, burns better, tastes better and isnt as harsh. I do it all the time if I by some overdried weed, rehydrate and gain grams on it to. Peace....MrP.
