View Full Version : Bottom nodes have drooping stems :(

Hey all,
I just noticed that my lower stems are kinda droopy looking.. Is this normal? It's just the stems on the 2 lowest nodes, the rest are straight, or pointed upwards a bit.

Looks healthy to me. As the fan leaves get bigger they get heavier and droop a bit. As long as the leaves are still a nice color and not curling I say you are going strong!

Sweet, I just changed to a 12/12 lighting cycle.. Just wanted to make sure.

Be certain the plant has enough water.

yeah that looks normal assuming you mean the fan leaves. look around the forumns at some other mature plants, they all do that to varying degrees

Cool, thanks for the info. I've been watering every other day with a semi-generous amount of water. Not enough to flood the basin below the ceramic pot, but quite a bit.
