hi sorry I wasn't trying to break any rules, but my thread got locked.

I mentioned my negative experience with psychedelics because I felt it was important information.

My questions were about why I feel I have such a bad experience with weed now.

hence this quote.

"So why am I telling you this? Because I need your help. Since this day, I have had a negative experience smoking weed. I become paranoid, worried about peoples thoughts and interpersonal communication. My heart races, my entire body tingles and pulses, and I am very uncomfortable and reclusive. And this all happens off one or two hits from a joint.

I'm 31 years old now, and I avoid any form of THC like its the plague. Please help me. I'd like to return to the mello, artistic, thought-provoking experience I had as a child.

Thank you in advance."

I'm sorry if I offended anyone :(

Give it up man....it is time to quit for you...at least from what I read from your post...listen to your body, it tells you everything.

FBR knew you weren't deliberately trying to break the rules, ClovenHooves, but at the same time he's still obligated to enforce the board policy, which doesn't allow for discussion of other psychotropic substances. You're a new member and he gave the thread the benefit of the doubt and even tolerated it as it started a trend of other-psychotropic discussion, much of which he had to delete. Ultimately he had to close it for that reason, to prevent that trend from continuing further. It was creating too much work for him, and our owner feels strongly about our enforcing that rule.

I think Geonagual is correct. If you have a bad response from THC, then you're rather in a bad spot. Until you live in a place where you can obtain specific strains that don't act on you that way, which won't easily happen outside a place where medical cannabis is legal and you have a prescription, you probably do need to abstain. The psychoactive ingredients in cannabis don't act on everyone pleasantly and in the same way. It's like any other substance or medicine that's not a match with your particular body/brain chemistry, from milk to gluten to antihistamines to prescription pain killers.
