Just curious about what everyone who celebrates/decorates for the season tops there tree with.
I have always been a nice tasteful angel myself.

A small wreath I made using a thin willow branch, silver bells, and peacock feathers. I know it sounds weird, but it matches this pretty velvet patchwork tree skirt my grandmother made me.

Nothing this year. Used to be an angel, but we'll be going to the kids house for Christmas this year.
You don't know how excited I am at not having to decorate this year. ROFLMAO...

For a long time during the years we had a smaller tree, it was a white-feathered angel that someone gave us when our baby was born. Then the angel got roughed up by a house-cat and we used a Mexican aluminum star from my mom. This year we'll have the big Christmas-tree (evergreen) shaped tree in our foyer, and if we want anything at its tip, we'll either have to have it put on and hope for the best before the tree is erected, or we'll have to do without because we need scaffolding or a cherry-picker to get to the top of that tree. In our family room where we have the presents, we just decorate our biggest ficus tree with lights and ornaments because the smaller evergreen tree in there is too much of a temptation for cats to climb up under. Holiday decorations in this house tend to be at the discretion of my animals!
Your little wreath topper sounds beautiful, Greenlady. This has given me an inspiration to make a new holiday wreath and work peacock feathers into the design!

No christmas tree here either, I'm going home for Christmas. And what if Chritmas trees had a soul? Poor trees proably scream durning Christmas time! If a tree screams in a forest does it make a sound? lol

Thanks Bird and SD. Peacock feathers are currently one of my favorite crafting items. You can use them in just about anything. In fact I just finished making a centerpiece for my table using peacock feathers, dried pussywillow, and mistletoe.

My topper is a star, but it's a big copper cookie-cutter. There are copper cookie cutters and miniature kitchen implements all over the tree, and tiny knitted wooly socks, and some fishing lures too.

BGIT, I bet it looks cute on you, he, he, he... Ooops, sorry, I remember now. You put in on top of your Christmas tree, LOL... :D
FBR, I have a question. When Santa gets too stoned on that blunt, does he fall off the top and get all tangled up in the lights?
