1 Month Soaking

o wow..:stoned: I just flamed up the alcohol my weed was soaking in.. 30 days of soaking in 99% iso-alc. Yielded about 8 grams from 1/4lb of weed (regs)...so I put some of the sticky ass shit on top of my weed-packed bowl, toked, and got myself suprisinly blazed... has anyone ever soaked as long as I have? I heard 36hrs is common... but i went a month mainly cause my parents were around and I was too busy and completely forgot about bein in my closet..:p

never even heard of this, explain how u did it so I can maybe check it out, and how did u get 99% iso-alc? all i can find is 70%

i'm lucky, i can get it at work.. my dept. has a 50gal. drum of 99% and as a supervisor it's pretty easy to pump some into a water-bottle and walk-out with :D otherwise my buddy says you can get some from behind the pharmacy counter at wal-mart.. but i wouldn't ask for more than 2 bottles and if they ask what its for say youre cleaning a motor.. or cleaning something

o and i made it by soaking 4oz in 99% in a air-tight plastic container that was my ma's for at least 24hrs, then I filtered the liquid using a fish-fry/baby fish netting from walmart.. into a pie-pan....OUTside.. then stuffed a white sock with the soaked weed, wrung it out over the pie-pan and then set it on fire.. stepped back inside to warm up and watch it boil.. then when it went out and was cool i brought it back inside and started scraping with a razor blade and transferring it onto aluminum foil, after that i stuck it in the freezer untill it was frozen, broke a small chunk off and smoked it.. O and make sure your liquid is pure clean filtered... no floaters! before you set it on fire

Ok, let me get this straight. You just wasted most of the weed you put in that alcohol by SETTING IT ON FIRE? Tell me if I got that wrong, but you must have boiled off/burnt off at the very least half of the cannabinoids in the alcohol by SETTING IT ON FIRE. When you do an alcohol extraction, you let it boil off either by putting a fan on it, letting it boil off itself (alcohol is volatile and will evaporate alone), or you can speed it up by putting it in a double boiler and surrounding the alcohol in one container with another container of hot water.

What were you thinking? Try smoking it alone and tell me if it still gets you high.
