Hi james

I get my coconut oil in the mail, but good places to try are health food stores or Asian cookery shops.

If you're struggling to find some, Ghee (clarified butter) is a good substitute.
You can make your own by putting a little regular butter (unsalted if you have it) in a pan on a low heat, when the 'milk solids' start to froth up just skim it with a spoon a couple of times until you're left with a clear yellow oil.
It'll set like like regular butter in the fridge, and last for a year.

Hope that helps

For organic Coconut oil that is free of pesticides and other crap go to Mercola.com (click here (http://www.mercola.com/forms/coconut_oil.htm)) and buy the best - it is worth the price. I buy my oils and peanut butter there. Good luck.
