I was just in a head shop today and i wasnt talking about weed, if you just say tobacco they get the point usually. And it doesnt get them in hot water. They know no one REALLY chiefs tobacco through a bong.

Uhh...did you say "Hey man I need something to grind my weed with!"

If so, then yea...they should've kicked you the hell out of there.

I mean...the headshops here have bongs, pipes, papers, blunt wraps, grinders, and everything else on display...I half expected to find a vaporizer (asked for one, guys said they don't carry them). I mean..a grinder is a grinder...legally it may be marketed as a "tobacco grinder" or something, but asking for just a "grinder" shouldn't cause a problem. You had to have said something else...

I respect all headshop rules, I mean these people are doing what they can to legally bring us these products that they know will be used illegally. Sure, they make a nice profit off of it and yea they are stoners too and know whats up but there is definetly a risk involved. We can atleast respect these simple rules.

Yeah, any reference to weed in a headshop will get ya the boot, even "bong". Freedom of speech is one thing, but they can't have their items associated with cannabis and when it comes to legality, you can't be too careful.

I didn't know you couldn't reference a water pipe in a headshop as bong...When i bought my bong i just said "Ill take this bong right here" and pointed and they handed it over...no problems at all. I would never reference weed though...always tobacco.
