The way it happens for me is either something is said or done that sours me on either a person or an activity...once that has happened it is pretty much done for me...with usually no chance of reconciliation..I think it is one of my worse traits because I can go cold...cold...and turn my back forever and never look back.

anyone else like this?

What do you think?

I can put on an act that Ive gone cold, but on the inside, im either fuming, super sad, or whatever this scenario causes me to feel. I have a tendency to still speak to whoever im upset at, but with a sneer on my face or an unreadable mask. Its my defense mechanism to act hard, even though im not... shhh, dont tell anyone.

Yes....depending on the situation I can do that easily. In fact.....there's only ONE thing in my life that I went sour on and was able to come back and do and LOVE more than ever......my job. Most other things that I've gone REALLY sour on (not just having a bad day but things I have come to HATE or DREAD that I used to love) really do seem to become a bubble burst.....never he same (or as good) even if I work at it.

There's a saying out there somewhere about people in your life....some come into your life for a season, some for longer, some forever. Makes me wonder if other things are like that too.
