View Full Version : Mending a glass pipe...
I have a glass pipe that was dropped and the bowl cleanly broke off of the stem of the pipe. Is there a safe way to repair this into a working condition?

I used krazy glue on my ash catcher when it broke and haven't had a problem with it, as long as you aren't heating the glue itself it shouldn't matter.
i was going to use krazy glue until i saw all the "toxic fumes, don't enhale" warnings all over it...

i used rubber cement on mine. it had a nice clean break as well. just wait til it's dried all the way and be sure to get the flame in the bowl and there shouldn't be a problem. also it will probably break in that same spot every time from now on (mine did)

my friends ash catcher also broke and glue worked fine, but thats casue that part wont get hot at all. personally i wouldnt risk it since it would be so close to where your heating and it could heat up and release fumes, especially if its a smaller pipe
your asking for shitty fumes if you use a glue gun

I have repaired three glass bubblers with J-B Weld epoxy.
The pipes are stronger than new after repair.
