Canadanks calls me to see whats up...I told him I am just cruising to a friends to get him stoned cause he hasnt smoked for a few days..I asked him if he wanted to come..I told him I had just scored some good bud they called "white caps"..I dont think I have even heard of it..
So, we cruise down to my friends..pack the bubbler full..after 4 hits of this weed and you are toasted...we sit in his back yard which has a great view toke and laugh and tell stories..my friend is the stoned surfer car salesman...always broke cause all he wants to do is go and have fun..haha..i am getting side tracked..
So, we chill for awhile and me and canadanks decide to go and do some kind of adventure..it is already 1130 pm..but decide to do a cache that is in a tunnel, under a freeway..it is a 5 for terrain, which is most difficult..this is a crazy cache..I did it about year and half ago in the day time..here it is..it is called Fear Factor: Up the rat hole
GCHYJR - A Multi-cache in California, United States called Fear Factor: Up the Rat Hole created by The DAK Girls (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=8f73b3bf-0e1b-478e-8267-b034695066e4)
We get stoned some more and it takes awhile to find the starting point..it is dark and foggy and we figured we dont need no flashlights..if we do we will just use the lights off of our phones...it is dark as fuck..we scale this hill, go down a steep ass hill sliding with slight bushwacking...jump a 6 foot chain link fence with no top bar...cross a major freeway, camoflauging ourselves as cars come by..It is about 1 am about this time..walk down a culvert..scale 2 more fences and decide to call it quits..cause my fucking GPS is fucking up...we do all that I say in reverse...get back to my truck, sweating and smoke the last bowl of that fine ass weed...didnt find the cache but had a blast..just getting out and exploring the world..Good times..

You're the man. I love doing shit like this. I remember one night me and a friend were exploring a bunch of overflow tunnels that ended up leading to small underground rooms... crazy shit. :)
There are a BUNCH of unused and abandoned train tunnels here in Boston that I'd love to check out but never got the chance. :[

Nice..You can find caches without a GPS..there is a cacher, I dont remember where, but he has 1400 finds without using a GPS..just using the maps..he was able to get in the general location and make the find..
That homeless dude didnt say shit about the nail..probably cause there was $2 in change around it..

He was stoked about that nail!
Yeah I saw that some people made it easy for the GPSless,
which is cool but it seems that those are kindda easy, you know?
What the fuck did you get a splinter from?!
Sounds fun, but I don't understand what you mean by a "cache"

Hey CanaD, I talked to my cousin yesterday..I had to call him. haha..he said I got your message but it was 3 am and I didnt want to wake you..I said dude, I was still awake..haha
Anyway, if you remember that is a multi cache..he said the first waypoint is in a log right around where we were..I remember it now..but I still think my GPS is acting funny..then of course the second WP is through the tunnel then up the ladder and then that leads you to the final, which is through the tunnel and up a hill..I really hate when I dont find one, it just bugs the shit out of me..the sad part is...that I had already found it before to..lol..yeah, I suck.

Well man I don't blame you hahaha! It was 1 in the morning and we were slightly intoxicated if I must say so. Plus the GPS acting funny, that certainly didn't help our case ya know.
Hey either way man, our goal that night was to do something fun, and that we did! We'll go find it sometime this week and show that cache what's up.
I'm really thinking of getting a GPS today...if I get hired somewhere I'm running to the store and getting one!

That is a great price on that...do you know how many waypoints that will hold?
CanaDanKs Inc.

Hmm it says.. "You get 1,000 user waypoints with name and graphic symbol and 20 reversible routes."
also.. "The unit also comes with a 10,000-point automatic track log, and 20 saved tracks (500 points each) let you retrace your path in both directions."
I think it will be great for what I need it for...which is geocaching and random wilderness treks!

I am sure there are caches in Brazil too.
I dont think so... knowing the people from here, im sure the first one to find the "treasure" would get it and leave NOTHING to the next one...
