Everyone loves music when they're high, and who ever plays it usually likes to do it while their high aswell. Is there like any science as to why music is so much better high, or why you feel like you play it better when your high? or atleast some?

yeah.
today i smoked 2 bowls and hopped on my drumset. i felt really concentrated, and all my limbs were working in order. like everything felt on time, and smooth. unlike times when i play sober i'm edgey and my timeing is screwy.
is there any scientific proof weed enhances musical abilities or is it all psychological?

What is -- and what causes -- the marijuana "high"? (http://www.medicalmarijuanaprocon.org/bin/procon/procon.cgi?database=5-M-Subs-2.db&command=viewone&op=t&id=22&rnd=712.0139262124608)
When you smoke a joint, the THC goes into your lungs, then into your heart which pumps it into your bloodstream which then takes it directly to your brain. When you smoke marijuana, it only takes a few minutes for the THC to get to your brain, whereas if you eat it, it would take a little longer because it has to pass through your digestive system first.
Once it's in your brain, the THC activates what are called 'receptors,' and gives you the feeling of being high. In short, marijuana changes the physical and chemical balance in your brain and this is what people refer to as a 'high'."
The main active chemical in marijuana is THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol). The membranes of certain nerve cells in the brain contain protein receptors that bind to THC. Once securely in place, THC kicks off a series of cellular reactions that ultimately lead to the high that users experience when they smoke marijuana. [...]
As THC enters the brain, it causes a user to feel euphoric â?? or 'high' â?? by acting in the brainâ??s reward system, areas of the brain that respond to stimuli such as food and drink as well as most drugs of abuse. THC activates the reward system in the same way that nearly all drugs of abuse do, by stimulating brain cells to release the chemical dopamine.

What ISN'T so much better when you're high, LOL.
Actually I spent an incredible amount of time at just that type of experimentation back in my younger days, and have just started back my experiments with cannabis and music. And cannabis and food. And cannabis and sex. And cannibas and sleeping for an entire night, instead of getting up every two hours. I could go on and on, but the conclusion to my experimentation, and also your question, is
HELL YES !

I do agree that it enhances it.. cannabis puts me in the "zone" more than it would get there normally/.

I suggest listening to David Wilcox's Riverboat Fantasy song. :p
"Life for me is a riverboat fantasy, watching the sun go down
A rock and roll band with a reefer in my hand, look at that wheel go 'round
Cocaine kisses, and moonshine misses, that's the life for me
Sailing away from my heartache
On a riverboat fantasy"
