I was going to make a thread about things not to do so I took some pics of the plant. Using a nice camera that can take up close pics a saw something weird.
I think the little round balls are resin, but I this plant went through so many bad things, I am not sure if it could be resin.
Bad things = spider mites twice, Miracle grow soil, miracle grow fert, MH bulb 3 times past its life, and mushrooms sprouting around it.
Are those balls resin. Save file and open with image viewer for a better look.
It now has a new HPS.

Oh noooo, You've got a bad case of trichome takeover. If you send them to me, I'll send them back with that stuff cleaned off.

Greetings,
I have noticed a clear, hard, sugar coating all over my flowering sativas...they having been in 12/12 for 8 weeks now. They feel a lttle stiff but smell wonderful...
Is this normal for plants going into the flowering stage to have this hard sugar coating on them? I followed all the standard rules during this grow. I also used molassas and flowering MG plant food...
The colas are about 4 inches in diameter and look great, I just have not experiences such a hard sugar coating on MJ plants like this on outside grows, just a sticky resin.
I this normal? I intend to harvest in the newxt week or so based on the trich color changes to a bit more amber...
Again, is this hard coating normal? Someone please advise...?
Thank you,
Much Respect....
