Energy drink kills my HIGH??????

WHAT UP LADIES AND GENTS! i havent posted or made a thread in a while, but today felt WAY COMPELLED!

It rained in arizona today HALLELUJAH!!!! (dont know if spelled that shit right) so i went home on lunch to smoke a bowl in celebration! but on my way had to put air in my tire and I purchased an AMP energy drink. Havent drank one in a long time and used to be addicted. So i go home, take a pretty phat bowl and blaze it through my 3' roor. I was lit, eye drops go in (doesnt kill my buzz) cologne (clinique happy..MMMMMM) then opened that AMP up. I take that to the dome quick. Got to work, sat down... thought to myself..how high am i? then realized i dont feel SHIT!

So is it possible the AMP killed my high?

Energy drinks sometimes give me too much anxiety and jittery-ness when I'm high, but they usually don't kill the high for me.

Ahh, with an increased level of sugar/caffine* in the bloodstream I'd say it's very possible it killed your high. We have an energy drink here in New Zealand called "V" (not sure if its worldwide) but that and/or Coke/Pepsi can remove my high (from fairly intense levels) within minutes.

I've used them in the past as quick escapes from the high if an unexpected trouble arrived.

I try to drink a red Amp everytime I smoke, I love the stuff. It has never killed my high though.

Sweet, I'm from NZ too! And yeah pretty sure they don't have V in America aye..I've never really noticed that aspect of it, but that could be a really mint thing to have on you whenever you blaze, incase you have to be sober to do something real important or whatever..Tricky..:jointsmile:

i doubt that it would wear your shit off. when i blaze i drink about a half pot of strong ass black coffee that prolly has more caffiene in it than amp and it actually makes my high even better

Energy drinks are full of sugar...Consuming sugar hurts your high, by that logic an energy drink can sure kill your high. I drink those Monster drinks every once in a while, but I usually don't smoke for a few hours after drinking one. Even then I notice that my high doesn't last as long.

Hmm...I've never had an energy drink kill my high thankfully although I don't drink them an awful lot. Except if im going to a big smoking/drinking session with my friends, I usually sink a few energy drinks before hand so I dont fall asleep.
