hello all.
Does anyone know if its ok to use silicone+ and h2o2? On the bottle of silicone it says its from organic resources, and on the h2o2 bottle it says it will kill anything organic?

Well if your going by the directions alone, it doesn't make much sense to use both. I'm not a big fan of h2o2. I want microorganisms in my roots. In fact I add them. I add oxygen the plain old fashioned natural way; with bubbles.
I like to put a humidifier and a dehumidifier in the same room and let them fight it out.

Im using an air stone aswell.Im using the h2o2 because im growing NFT,and feel it with stop any probs with root rot as I had a problem with this last time. What has silicone got to do with oxygen? I thought these two products did different things. Is`nt the silicone a mineral for strenth?.

Well, I'm just thinking that if the silicone is organic, and h2o2 kills organic stuff, no need to add silicone. But I've never tried it. Just guessing.

:wtf: Im pretty sure he just wants to know if h2o2 will degrade a silicone sealant...not gobbing it in as an additive.
Am I off base here?

Sorry peeps,crossed lines here.
I was on about using it as an additive, but its not silicone, as ive previously mis spelled, its vita link silicon+ and its meant to be used 4ml per litre as some sort of cell strenthener.
Any ways I read the general product key on it wrong and it is`nt actually organic. Sorry for the wasted time, but thanks for the help.Peace RM.
