and that is not smoking so much herb you glued some wings on and flew..

it is flown in an airplane..I always like it when I meet people and they say they have never flew..my dads first time was about 6 months ago..of course he got lost in Chicago so it did not make it to much fun for him...

For me, I have no clue..all I can say is a lot.

what about you?

You would not want to fly with me...I love to try and scare the shit out of the rookie flyer...you know like bolts falling out, strange airplane noises, birds crashing into the planes windshield, drunk pilots

Not much. I like England, and dont really see the point of going anywhere else, apart from A dam every now and again, although after this years fiasco at the airports and the not-so-good weed im not sure i'll bother going back.

hundreds of times...my dad has had a plane my whole life and is a pilot and a flight instructor.

...not to mention I have been on commercial airlines starting very young..couldn't even begin to count that either.

...Oddly enough I'm not too down with planes.

I have gotten to fly though..like land a plane and steer it and stuff..

I have been on a few. They were all up and down the east coast.

One was in a private plane on a stretcher from Virginia to Albany, N.Y.

Seaplane- a few times in the Adirondacks

Commercial jet- plenty of times- to Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Buffalo, DC, Dublin, Heathrow, LAX, Denver, Seattle, Anchorage, Philly, and San Francisco, all from either Boston or Hartford.

Commercial prop plane- to King Salmon and Dutch Harbor, out of Anchorage- Also several flights, back when I worked the commercial groundfish fleet out of Dutch Harbor AK- tiny, noisy Metroliners with green vinyl school-bus seats that only sat 30 passengers and instead of snacks they gave you... EARPLUGS.

The last time I flew was the last day I ever saw the person I miss most, coming back from Kansas City, a few weeks before Yeag moved back to Alaska. I was in tears the whole flight. That was in May.

Maybe I'll fly to Alaska again someday.

I flew from N.Y. to L.A. and back in 1970. Then in 1976 I flew to Greensboro NC and back to N.Y.. Then in 1981 I flew to Texas and back to N.Y..
It was 20 years {2001) before I got on a plane again and flew to Vegas and back to LAX to see my parents for the 1st time in 8 years.
I flew again to N.Y. and back to Phoenix in 2002 for what was the last time I ever goto a wake or funeral including my own.
I flew from Phoenix to Burbank about 6 times and have not flown since the Spring of 2003 and will never fly again unless they let me pilot the aircraft.
Not one human being that lives is good enough to have my life in their hands be it a car, bus, train or plane. I ride a motorcycle or drive my Tacoma and will never ever be a passenger again as long as I live.

My dad was in the Air Force for the first 14 years of my life then retired.. so... when we lived in Alaska he got his pilots license and we went out in Cesna's and shit all the time. When I was 10, I was with my dad in the hangar at Elmendorf AFB bored while he talked to some dude, and the base commander happened to walk in and asked me if I wanted to fly. Sure, why not? So I hopped in the pilots seat, and he instructed me how to take off and land, we went through all the pre-flight checks, and with him to my right I flew for about 30 minutes. Of course both pilots have full control, but he only stepped in and helped during the landing.

As far as commercial flights, we have taken hundreds of military "hop's" around the world.. anywhere for 5 bucks.. cant beat it. Flown in all sorts of different planes including a C5 (obviously big and LOUD as fuck), and a KC135 refueler.. I was asleep but my dad and brother got to go into the refueling cockpit while it filled an... shit is that an F-18? I dunno, Ill attach a pic.

EDIT: I decided to attach the pic my dad took of me sleepin on the fuckin plane. While we were still climbing to cruising altitude, I wrapped my head up in that cargo netting and passed out. I guess at some point my head fell out lol :P

I love flying and I don't think I have ever been in a plane when I wasn't stoned.
I was given flying lessons for my fortieth birthday and I did those stoned too.

The two times I wasn't stoned were the flight to Thailand and the return flight, that was in 1982 when I was training in Muay Thai and drugs and booze had no place in my regime.

Yeah I have flown in the C-5..and the C-141...military planes are a trip cause you face the back of the plane.

Some of em... The only seats on the KC-135 were along the side of the cargo hold, because the interal space was for cargo and our luggage. When I flew on the C-5, they only installed seats on the top floor, like the last half of the cargo hold, and they faced the front, but in that plane they can face the seats any way they want lol.

Flew in planes a lot when I was younger with my family but I cant remember those experiences to well. Although when I started flying to my sisters places in england and scotland, I really enjoyed it...how the clouds looked. Only been on a helicopter once which was in Canada flying over Niagara Falls which was amazing.

I flew about 10 times during my entire life... and LOVED it! When i was a child one thing i wished to be was a pilot... (or a astronaut hehe)... anyway... the thing i like most about flying is too see the clouds... i absolutely love the clouds, and being in middle of them, above them, feels like being in heaven... once i flew during BAD weather, and it was awesome... the gigantic clouds like huge misty towers, starting far below, and extending until far above the plane... and lots of lightning into and around they... too see the clouds being lighted from inside by lightning was amazing... and the best of all, i was very stoned, so the time passed slowww... and i could enjoy it even more... :stoned:

I've flown somewhere close to 200 times. That includes commercial, overseas and domestic, private small planes, and flying for work with the execs I used to write speeches for, journeys which were on small and medium-sized Lear and Canadair jets. I've also had ground school and 55 hours of my own flying time, but I'm not counting that in the 200 tally. The flying with my corporate executive bosses also involved a number of trips on nice helicopters, which I also love.

I flew for the first time when I was not quite 4 years old and so don't remember a time when I was ever afraid of it. I love being in the air, even when it's stormy or rough and the skies aren't so friendly. Love the sensations of taking off and landing--even turbulence. I've always--except for once when there was engine trouble on a little Cessna Caravan I was a passenger on--felt completely safe up there. Would like to spend more time studying flying sometime in the future and get my instrumentation rating, but I'm not sure I really need that. One of Dave's best buddies in the world owns a little aviation company here in Dallas and gets us anyplace we need or want to go.

Someday I'd like to learn how to fly gliders. That sounds like the epitome of aviation heaven to me.

I'm flying to my sister's place in baltimore tomorrow, it's been awhile since ive last flown the friendly skies. I'll chew some gum because my ears pop, kiss my cross to keep me and my family safe on our flight, order a drink and read the rest of the shining to pass the time. It will be good to get away from it all for awhile. I haven't been on a trip in forever.

Probably about 40+ commercial flights, longest flight was 16 hours and we had turbulence nearly the whole way lol

Flown a plane once for about an hour or so, damn fun :D wish i could get a pilots license but the lessons are a bit too expensive for me at the mo, one day....... ;)
