Do you know how humid your grow space is? That sort of thing needs humidity to grow.
Check the ;unwanted mushrooms in pots' thread for a great discussion on soil fungus.

50/60% humidity/raising to 70 after watering, drops back down a couple of days after watering(i only water/feed every 5 days).the soil is a multi purpose ph balanced compost with prelite called dunstables multi purpose(a uk brand(pretty crap but my plants are ok!) i found out that the soil has probably got peat in it so i've been adding bone meal to raise the ph (its at 6 now).cheers stinky i'll check it out;-)

ive had that before somewhat. like with any pests or disease, try a little soap in a spray bottle and spritz it 2 times a day to see if that helps.
(not too much though, since soap doesnt come up as the greatest nutrient in my mind)

its'funny you should say that i've been spraying my plants with a mist of neem oil, soap and water for the last month or so and someone on another thread said neem oil works on the soil works against the mold/fungus.
cheers mate i'll try soap as well!

neem oil is great on bugs, never tried it tho... ive done fine using soap on slight moulds and mites before (those spider mites are buggers)
