So Cal Grow question

next year will be my first attempt at growing and i was wondering if anyone knew when is the best time to start in the southern california area?

any advice will help thanx..

For me, 2nd week of May is when I start germinating my seeds for my outdoor grow. I'm also in Socal.

If you want big plants you start earlier, even as early as April 1. I always start June 1, but I have been thinking of starting May 1 and just trim the tops off and apply weights to branches to keep them close to the ground.
