People place emphasis on such insignificant things like hair length, hair color or piercings?
I say this because i recently allowed my mother to cut my hair (i still havent learned) i like my hair to be on the longer side since its UBER curly i get a nice little shaggy looking fro that i like the look of, but it had just gotten too long. So now that my hairs been cut i HAVE to go see my grandmother (not that i mind seeing her, she's a sweet little old lady slipping into the depths of senility) because apparently now that ive allowed my mother to butcher my hair (i tell her to take 1 inch and thin it a little she takes 4 inches and thins it a TON) im apparently a completely different person...you know whole new set of morals and values and all that jazz.

If it doesn't ruin my life, i'll do anything to please someone. Like i'm getting baptised for my mother, because it'll make her happy, even though I think it's ridiculous to think that water over my head by some guy in a robe is going to cleanse my sins. But, it's not going to ruin my life and it's a huge deal to my mom, so why not?

like here's an example, ive been doing the whole college thing and because of that i havent had a job in a while. I've been looking for one but im being ridiculously picky about what jobs i want, i want one that i wont have to work more then 20 hours a week (max) and that isnt going to be too stressful as school is my number 1 priority. My mother is just convinced im not even looking, the night after i got my hair chopped i heard her say "Oh well you know he's just acting more responsible now, you know he's ready to go out and look for a job now that he's gotten his hair cut. Its like he's a butterfly coming out of its cocoon."
ahh yes being coverd with tats I find People judge me before they even talk to me,it used to annoy me but not anymore .Ive found that the people who are quick to judge are usually the ones who aren't worth knowing anyway. However if i put on a suit i get treat like a different person all together Its quite amusing actually.:D

I like the benefits that arise from wearing more "professional" clothing. It's fun to give off a good first impression, only to shatter the impression with "I smoke weed, play video games, and eat fast food on a daily basis."
Silly. :D

I too run into that problem due to having tattooes, and one being a "devil" It's a gargoyle and has a very significant meaning to me.
I have long hair too, past my shoulders now and I get called a longhair all the time. People who are serious about it, and my boss who jokes about it.
Our delivery driver, he was a cop for 25 years and is now retired. I put on Slayer in the morning while we unload the truck, and he calls me a "hippy, longhair narcotic user" :p word for word...I laughed and told him that's something a cop would say.
Does it bother me though? No, not really. I laugh it off really and know that people are quick to judge and actually say something about it, due to their own insecurities, so I shrug it off.

I wouldn't care about someone who doesn't have any frame of reference judging me, thats to be expected, i supposed what gets me the most is the fact its my mother.
