Hillary Clinton has been caught answering a planted question on global warming from a member of the audience during a supposedly spontaneous session with voters in the key first caucus state of Iowa.
The embarrassing disclosure is the latest campaign stumble for the Democratic presidential frontrunner who is involved in a heated fight in Iowa with rivals Barack Obama and John Edwards.
It came last week as Sen Clinton called on a student for a question. Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff asked how she planned to combat climate change.
The former First Lady replied: "You know, I find as I travel around Iowa that it's usually young people that ask me about global warming."
The student later said that one of Sen Clinton's staff asked her to put the question to Sen Clinton and then signalled to the candidate to choose her.

LOL, completely dodged the question. Nice. I loathe Hillary Clinton, though. So although you know I'm a liberal, I think she's scum of the earth. Good post, P4B

The question is, will this hit mainstream mass media like CNN and FOX? If not then a lot of people may unfortunately not even hear of this.

My bet Chris Mathews will at least take a shot at it. This is something you just shouldn't overlook.

Every candidate does this. The designated hitter. Ethical? Not really but who cares. If you're looking for ethics don't look at politics.

Killerweed's right. They all do it.
If it helps you keep this in perspective, the Bush administration makes sure his audiences for personal appearances where there'll be questions and answers are quite literally hand-picked and heavily screened so they won't ask certain questions about controversial subjects, questions that'd be too difficult for him to answer, questions that might make him look dumb(er) or questions that might prompt objections or protests. This has been done since the first year he was in office, when they learned the hard way he wasn't a skilled extemporaneous speaker who could field questions without embarrassing himself or others. (Cheney can, but he rarely does Q & A sessions and insists on stringent screenings, too.) This has been reported in the media, too, and is a matter of record that the administration doesn't deny. A former speechwriting colleague at the company I used to work for now works in the White House Office of Communications and is part of the "advance team" that helps screen and pre-prepare his audiences.

lol, Birdgirl you actually reminded me of that incident where, right after taking Baghdad at the beginning of the Iraq war, the army actually paid these 2 Iraqi guys to go on camera and say "Thank you Mr. Boosh! Oh thank you!"

Well, it seems the thing to do now is expose this practice.......we'll see how many others there are or if this is a "Clinton" issue.

I dont care if she plants people.... she needs it, along with most other politicians.
But you see her true colors, when Potato head Tim Russert, just asks a simple question.
are you for, or aginst illegals having a new york drivers License?
she goes into her version of "I voted for it before i voted aginst it"....LOL
Hillary inserts foot and the rest of her leg in mouth... the rest of the pannel reams it out of her..... LOL
How about no Clintons no Bushes.....
If idiot Billdo clinton had taken some steps after WTC1 bombing, US Cole... maybe we wouldnt be in the mess. Radical Islam was at war with us, and Clinton did nothing. If Billary wins get ready to lose the war. What size Berka will Hillary wear? We know that Socialst ding bat Stretch Pelosi will embrace her new head scarfs.....

This is undoubtedly what annoys me most about Hillary Clinton, she never takes responsibility for her actions.
When I was watching the first Democratic debate this year, they asked her if she made a mistake voting to go into Iraq, especially now that she opposes it. Her answer was "well, I did make a mistake.... in trusting George Bush."
Disgusting, apologizing and at the same time shifting the blame to somebody else.
I can't wait for the great American Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton Saga. America's in for the real administrative shakeup it needs!

hillary is just a panderer. she just says what she thinks people want to hear and tries not to answer any question that might offend her supporters. she is nothing more than a talking bobble head. dont even get me started on that lisping buffoon giuliani. he is hillary with a dick(maybe?). the fact that these two are the frontrunners just goes to show how stupid and gullible the american people have become.
