Green Dragon question...

So I was thinking about doing the Green Dragon (Secret of the Green Dragon (http://www.greendragon.lhosting.info/)) thing, but I have a question.

Does it have to be alcohol or can you substitute it with something else? Like a different drink, why does it have to be alcohol?

THCs is 'booze' soluable. the higher the proof, the better the outcome. I suppouse that you could use butter, or anything that is high in fats and oils (THC is also fat soluable, thus being able to be baked into goods.), but that would be a little disgusting.

Aaaaaah, I gotcha. That's what I thought. So if it's fat soluable, could you use it in maple syrup or corn oil or something? I mean if it's just a dropper full you could just chug it without tasting is so it wouldn't be that bad right?

dude maple syrup is water based, its pretty much that and sugar. just stick with everclear dude, it'll dissolve much easier than oil. also its thinner and will dilute through out evenly unlike it would in a viscous fluid like oil

im guessing ur underage and cant get alcohol?

You do know that some people don't drink alcohol? And Everclear is fucking disgusting, especially when you take it straight. Still, I want to try the Green Dragon thing, with Everclear.

Ahhhh so it DOES work. Just doesn't sound too good, but whatever. Probably has more to do with the fact that the guy was drinking warm milk, rather than milk with weed in it. I'd definitely have to let my shit cool off in the fridge overnight or something.

Well... i simply HATE booze, alcohol and everything related to this... and yet i make green dragon... drinking it is the hardest part... i usually mix it with coke, to disguise the awful taste of alcohol... and drink without breathing... its bad, but the high i get from it is VERY worth the effort... :stoned:

And yes, the THC is soluble in milk. Try to look at the recipes sub-forum, there are some nice ways to eating/drinking your weed. :thumbsup:

I would like to share with you a process for an excellent non-alcoholic tincture. This sublingual Cannabis Medicine is spreading quickly through our Medical Community in Oregon.

You will need ONE CUP of food grade glycerin.
ONE OUNCE of top grade bud....chopped up with scissors or a burst in a cuisinart.
A Quart jar with a good SEAL.

Put the ingredients in the jar and give it a shake for about 5-10 minutes a day for two months. (IT IS WORTH the TIME!)

Press out the glycerin and strain well; and put in brown bottles with eyedropper.

I use a professional food press, so I get back the total amount of glycerin plus a little extra. A ricer will also work well if you line it with cheesecloth.

The medicine is as good as what you put into it. I find this a very good way to medicate at social functions. I carry mine in an herb tincture bottle. A drop or a dropper under the tongue is a good way to find relief.

But for me, this shit is killer.. I did three drops first time, and I had a hard time moving from the spot that I was in, 3 hours later, it lifted a tad bit but shit its like smoking a blunt of some widow its crazy.

Man... i did several experiments with glicerin... in my opinion, making green dragon with alcohol is better. Its WAY faster, and works very well.
