does any one know if it is best to prune some of the leafs off this because they are blocking light and bunching up. its says dont cut in books but some plants have better results, is this true?

It would be better to LST. Search it and you'll see what I mean.

It really depends on the amount of light its under.
it looks pretty good to me. plenty of bud sites and nice fat indi lookin leaf.
if it were mine Id leave it be.

Id suggest doing a little LSTing like killer said, doesnt involve any cutting done on your girl and it solves your problems.

looks good, better than too little growth. if the plant isnt getting any light on the ineer leaves, it will naturally drop them (look inside of a hedge sometime, no leaves towards the center)

Have you topped these already? The side branches are growing faster than the main stem. I'd cut off any dying, yellowed leaves, the plant doesn't need to be wasting energy keeping old growth alive, when it can be producing new growth with that same energy.

I was pretty sure that yellowing leaves is the plant sucking the nutes from that leaf. When the plants finished using up the nutes in a leaf, it dies(the leaf). Its natural for the plant to use stored nutes from leaves that no longer serve the "light gathering" job that it was berthed for(ie: being too far from the light).
If you pluck a leaf thats still living(even barely), your plucking stored nutrients right off the plant.
And the answer for that plant is LSTing. Make sure you water well before you start.
