New beans (Opium)

Just got my beans in from da UK, ordered 5 feminised Opium seeds. Germinating 4 and trying for 100% 4 plant female grow. Keep an eye out for da log.

Ever messed w/ femin. beans before ?
You need to provide a perfect stress free enviroment , n lotsa love or you'll have hermies . With B/S genetics going around now - even then you still may have hermies .

Well, I figure a hermie is better than a damn male ya know so might as well go with feminised. Besides I have an extremely stable environment with temp varying from only 68-75 degrees and my humidity is a steady 40-60% but the a/c in my closet keeps the plant from gathering dew. I have a 1x2 ft rectangular vent blowing fresh air from my downstairs onto my plants and then that air gets sucked through a carbon filter and goes to the a/c and the to the rest of the house. I keep the fan on 24/7 but not the a/c so I have constant fresh air. It's a sealed room save the two vents since I put the weatherstrip and a piece of black visqeen over the doorway. No air leaks, no light leaks. Oh, two of them popped and have about 1/2 cm root on them right now and I germinated them at 11:34 last night. The other two haven't popped but it was the way I folded them in the water drained to the bottom of the paper towel to the other two seeds. I just flipped it over and I hope to have 4 perfectly germinated seedlings come tomorrow morning or maybe tonight. I have been soaking my rockwool for a few hours too.
