Plant In the Spring, harvest in the Fall. That's about the basics. I plant in April here in TN, and harvest in November. I would judge by the last frost. Plant about a week or tow after the last frost, and let them grow until they are ready, or the temps are getting too low.

how long does it take roughly to grow a few plants?

Outdoors it takes a whole season because they will not flower until around Aug. The earlier you plant, the larger your plants will get.

but start the seeds/clones indoors first until they are a stable age. 2-3 weeks would be good. plus it gives the plant some more maturity for when flowering time comes. I make this comment assuming you are allowed to grow a young plant in your house, maybe you have parents or some other reason why you can't. anyway good luck:i feel stupid:

Ya I am in the Portland area currently and have seen plants flowering as soon as august 20. I plan on growing my plant indoors for a month then shocking it into flowering about a month into it's outdoor growth... i am also going to try growing in a mix of pumice and soil because the rain has been insane this year and im afraid it will rot the roots away.:rastasmoke:
