I'm going to grow in coco coir, is there anything i could add to improve it,or is there a far superior medium out there alltogether, any help or advice would be much appreciated

No rockwool. It holds too much water. Expanded clay pellets are the way to go in hydro. Coco is supposed to be real good but I haven't tried it yet.

i personally prefer the hygromite, if i couldnt use that i would use hydroton. Coco is hard to control and rockwool...... well just sucks imho.

If you use coco, be sure to mix about 30% perlite with it.
