ur seeds shood be brown and do not sqwish between ur fingers discard light green and deformed seeds these wont grow...i hope this is wat u meant by seed selection:thumbsup:

Actually by seed selection I meant a good newbie friendly strain that will do well in northern newengland with as little babysitting as possible.
I am considering first girl purple power or big bud
Any suggestions would help

well in your first grow you should try cheap seeds or bagseed that way u can get use to the way things work and u wont lose a hell of alot of money on seeds..but if u wanna go for it buy the good shit big bud:D
