I would still get the v6 automatic instead, though
those engines are tuned for low RPM, around town, stop light, torque.

all at around half the price of the track-prepped, bullitt by ford

Sorry...I think the V-6 Mustangs are weak at best..I sold Fords for many years and I always hated those V-6 mustangs..gotta get a V-8 Cobra

I don't like Fords at all, in fact I can't think of a single American car I would buy.
Muscle cars are not my thing at all, I want a car that will corner and doesn't just go fast in a straight line. There are so many cars out there that are better than the Mustang.

BTW The Bullit chase wasn't anywhere near as long as it looks in the movie, they pass the same Beatle about six times because it is a composite of lots of different camera angles.

Bad-ass.
I'm glad the Mustang finally has an aggressive muscle-car look back again.
It was getting kinda prissy there for a while. If I wanted a prissy assed sports car, I'd go for a vintage Triumph. Cute. Prissy. Not imposing at all. lol.

some factory dyno specs that all people should be aware of..........

the mustang''s more expensive v8
horsepower is the high speed race, or highway passing power
this v8's torque peaks at a high rpm

Specifications â?? 2008 Ford Mustang GT Deluxe Coupe â?? Yahoo! Autos (http://autos.yahoo.com/ford_mustang_gt_deluxe_coupe-specs/)

the mustang's less expensive v6
torque is the get up and go, stop light muscle and around town passing power, i luv torque,
this v6's torque peaks at a low rpm, is nearly identical to their v8's torque is lighter and also less of of a obvious audible roar that the driver is using the power engine

Ever wonder why they are so cheap ?
They aren't taxed as highly as imports .
The build quality is maybe not so good, after all it is a Ford.

common sense, that alot of imports will have trouble beating the price, with the continued degeneration of the puny US dollar
