Hi all,
I am just over 20 days into flower and want to maximize yield by adding enough nutes without over doing it. I think I may be going a little too light.
I'm using GH 3 part nutes and growing in soil with 25% perilite.
Here's my nute schedule for the last few weeks, 1'st number is Gro, 2'nd is Micro and 3'rd is Bloom, numbers are in ml.
I have also included TDS when measured, but you can add another 150 ppm to those numbers because I use baking soda to lower the PH which causes TDS to go up.
10/3/07 - 2 4 2 = 8ml
10/9/07 - 3 3 3 = 9ml
10/14/07 First day of flower.
10/18/07 - 1 3.5 7.5 = 12ml TDS/PPM:730
10/22 /07 - 1 4 8 = 13ml TDS/PPM:750
10/26/07 - 1.2 4.6 9.2 = 15ml TDS/PPM:900
10/29/07 - 1.3 5.2 10.4 = 17ml TDS/PPM:950
11/1/07 - 1.4 5.6 11.2 = 18ml TDS/PPM:1080
11/5/07 - 1.4 5.6 11.2 = 18ml TDS/PPM:1080

As you can see, since flower I have been mixing Gro,Micro,Bloom at a ratio of 0.25-1-2, but am about to swith to an even less nitrogen 'diet' but was going to keep the total ml roughly the same and continue to increase the amounts.

So what ya'll think, can I keep increasing by a total of 1-2 ml each feeding like I have been? Or can I boost it even quicker? And how high in ppm can I expect to go before nute burn is inevitable? Do you think I'm on the right track?

Thanks!

That's exactly the nute recipe' I'm using.
But, it seems to advocate upping to 0-1-2 and later to 0-1-3 or 1-0.5-3 where each unit is 8ml. That's over 30ml per gallon for the stage I'm at where I'm now feeding only 18 ml.
Anyway, I guess I'll keep going up a few ml at a time and watch for burn. I was just curious how much I can increase nutes each feeding.

with my plants i have tried all the way up to 2.6 ec which is 1300 ppm's and my plants seem to love it. anything over that ive never tried. i gradually upped them also. during veg i use a 800-900 ppm then in flower i up that to 1000-1200 ppms and it seems to be working so far.

Acceptable nutrient levels depend on the strain. I've seen plants that could take upwards of 1800-2000ppm in late flowering and love every bit; however, I've also seen some strains (blueberry especially) that can't take more than 900-1000.

Keep raising it slowly week after week and wait for the very tips of your leaves to get nute burn. Once they do, keep it there for a while or back it off a bit.... trial and error :)

Thanks, my strains are Sour Diesel and MK-Ultra.
Does anyone have experience with how many nutes they can take?
