Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Just picked this up and I was going to give ya'll a little review. The Single player is just AMAZING. There is so much innovation in this game it's impossible to explain it all but from laying on the ground struggling with a ferocious dog only to survive by breaking its neck, or sneaking in a ghille suit with a scot through a field to a hotel, where you must then snipe a mercenary leader; taking into account wind speed and distance.

The graphics are just awe inspiring, with better graphics than R6V, GRAW 2, etc. Multiplayer is also great with replay value that borders......*gulp* socom 1&2. The more you use a weapon the greater accuracy and damage you make, and the more attachments you unlock for that weapon as you level up through marine ranks. There are 16 maps from all around the world and I have not yet been in a lobby where a map has been vetoed.

I have not have this much fun with a game's single player since goldeneye on n64 and online since Socom.:D:thumbsup: EVERYTHING about the game is sooooo lifelike that if you walked into a room with this on, you might not recognize at first glance that it is in fact a video game haha! This game BLOWS Halo 3 out of the water in every aspect imo. If you like any type of shooter, you have to pick this up and play stoned.:stoned::hippy::rasta: G.O.T.Y!!!!

Officially the best shooter i have ever played. It is bloody amazing, its like some masterpiece movie and the story is so well put together its amazing, it actually makes you feel like you are part of a bigger thing, if you know what i mean...

i am really enjoying this game....i cant even put into words how nice this one is...it def blows all the socoms from ps straight out of the water, and that is hard to say as i LOVE the socom series...i also really liked the little dvd that it came with to show different things about the game....i was surprised to see the storyline so different, and was expecting to be able to kill some nazis, but it definately works....what an awesome game.....

Their are some things I dont get like the last stand or what ever its called. Why can you only shoot you secondary wepon. I was blown in to a wall today sitting up almost and I was facing the only entrace to the place. So when they rushed in I had to pop em with the little ass M9 instead of ripping em in half with my mk .48. My wepon had a bipod and about 150 rounds ready to shread, and I had to sit their all pop, pop, pop....felt like Arsinio Hall in the Movie Harlemnights, where their shooting automatic fire and then that dude pops off two rouns of his .38.

Haha I dunno, thats not a good perk anyways dont waste your time with that one. The martydom perk is better cause you drop a live grenade everytime you die lol!

yeah I have seen that one too. prerty sick to killem all with the magik gernade. I do it on SOCOM CA all the time, but COD does it all one its own.

I have the PS3 and PC versions, I neglected to get it on 360 until after Christmas and when I have some extra money. I'm loving it on PC, i'm going to host a Wet Work 24/7 server here soon, enjoyable game. I love the SP and the MP is INSANE.

I have played this game alot the last couple weeks. and I am bord with it.
cons
1. the levels are all very small
2. their is only 18 vs 18 action.......because the levels are so small
3. its all CQB, why have niper rifels when the levels are so small
4. you have to unlock wepons, I just want to battle
5. The ranking system is stupid, it makes no cents, to have a ranked respawn game, thier is no honor or fight of realisum thier
6. You cant pick levels just vote em out
7. level selcting is done buy computer, if you wana play with friends you all gott be in the same caln or it is alot of shit to do
8. getting started in a game is usualy quick but when slow can take up to 10 min. or more somtimes and if you dont like the team your put on your SOL
9. Their is no third person veiw, so theri is no way to get a berring on your surrondings, In life we have other sences that help in this, in the game thrid person veiw, helps to keep this aspect real.


Pros
1. the game graphics are beautifull
2. level changes with the battle, if you blow up a car on the street it says on fire, after it explodes, holes stay in walls
3.the air support feature is preaty cool 20 kill spree and you get the best air support and all the kills.
4. the aim mode is a realy good realistic quality


After getting back from the DAM, and logging on to SOCOM they have new patches new map packs and the flaws of the game are somewhat fixed. THe biggest thing, no more quick snipers, no more soft spotting, (Concellment and cover thers a differance look it up) if they would have the wepon raise up to your eye durring aiming this game would be the best on the planet............well I already think its the best on the planet but then their would be no argument about it....................Oh and it comes out on next gen systems at the end of the month, If they fix the wepon veiw during aiming I will squirt my self. Cool graphics can only go so far but

Like the missions in CoD2 they were just running into the enemy and you have to take out most of em. Im more of an Armed Assault person, more realistic games

go for golden guns.. u have to complete all the challenges for that class .. i.e to get a golden ak47.. u have to complete all the assult rifle challenges.
only bad thing is.. u dont get to chose which gun u want golden.. its ak or nothing (for assult rifles)
what guns n perks u guys use ?
i use m16 + red dot
stopping power and steady aim.
k/d is 1.81 and rising .. and accuracy is 21.7% ;)
i just started prestige 2.. wasnt gonna do it .. but i liked the 2nd badge:jointsmile:

but i share the same sentiment, it reminds me of socom so much. ever since ps2 has become obsolete and my friends stopped playing i've been searching for a SOC-sub. COD:4 is finally it, with added attributes that make it more interesting. the perks are sick, the guns are sicker, and i love working towards weapons. probably the best game out right now, and i traded in halo 3 after i bought COD 4.

the only thing that would blow this out of the water i would imagine is the next socom, but i don't have ps3 and i do recall SOCOM 3 and Combined Assault to be dissapointments compared to the nostalgic all-night socom 2 days.
