hey,
i just started a grow a few weeks ago and my plants leaves are yellowing. i havn't added any nutes, used the best soil i could find, and the temp is good. havn't tested the ph yet though. i had it under a 35w flouro tube until now. i figured i had nowhere near enough light, so now its under 6 15W CFL 6500k bulbs, and 1 23W 2700k bulb. so basically 115W of CFL lights. just did that today. im a complete noob, and learning along the way, so any advice is appreciated.
pics attached. and yes im getting some more reflective walls lol. those are just to contain the light right now. the plant is in my computer room, and im in there often. so there is some c02 around as well which ive heard is good for them.

Fill out the troubleshooting form at the top of the Plant Problems forum to give us some insight.

What kind of soil is that? Looks like a rich one.

How frequent are you watering? Temperature? etc

One of your problems is that your plants are too deep in the pots. The plants need good air circulation. Unfortunately, there's not a whole of a lot you can do about that right now. Any roots are so tender they would tear apart if disturbed. You need to get a fan blowing some air around - below the lights and on the plants.

I don't grow in soil, so I don't know what your other problems might be. But do get some air circulation ASAP.

aye like gaines said, and as you said "the best soil i could find"

if you used potting soil, most have ferts pre-added so even though you haven't nuted it could still be nute burn.

Aye pre added ferts and not checking my ph gave me the exact same results that you have.

Go to your local pet/hydro store and get some ph testing equipment also check the bag of soil

tested ph last night. seems to be around 6.0
the soil is a premium general all purpose potting soil. im beginning to .think thats the problem. i use tap water to water, but let it sit uncovered a few days to evap the clorine out. good point on the plants being low in the pots. never even thought of that. the lights made it look a bit better this morning. i will get a fan on it asap. and snap some more clearer pictures tonight with a picture of the bag the soil came in.

looks like some over-watering going on there ... let it dry well between waterings ... I say that, because it looks like mine usually do, and I am a 'serial-over-waterer' :D

well, im going to let the soil dry out. ive been watering every 2nd day or so, too much after looking around. a fan is now blowing, and im off to buy some ph + tomorrow. as for nute burn due to soil. i wouldn't be surprised as its potting soil. couldn't find my good camera. cell pics don't really show the plant well enough. i\ll look again tomorrow.
