You call any company today and you hear some automated voice giving you voice prompts...I swear that lady had a attitude today when she couldnt understand what I said.:stoned:

Here's a funny fact...some of the smaller companies that have "automated messages" are simply a person reading from a script, in a monotone fashion. I don't really understand why, when they could just record the voice. I worked for telemarketers one summer (no, I didn't do the calling--don't stone me, please, lol) and some of the women that had been there for years just read from a script with instructions to not let the callee stumble you up or interrupt you. Some of those women didn't even read anymore, they had it memorized and just said all that stuff. I used to sit at my little counting counter and just shake my head in disbelief.

Geo, you should call the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration some time if you want to hear THE single most fucked up and annoying automated answering system EVER.

It will make you want to do the most psychotically violent things towards undeserving outlets. Thank ME I finally dont have to deal with them ever again... what a nightmare..

Years ago I had a truck financed through a bank in Illinois. I always loved getting put on hold when I called because their automated message said, "All of our customer service representatives are busy servicing other customers."

I always wondered exactly what kind of servicing they did :D.
