Should I spend $250 dollars on seeds?

Serious seeds has chronic and ak-47 beans that I want.Is it worth making the trip to TORONTO for those beans.I don't want to mess with the mail issue??I just want to grow AK-47 real bad!

I dunno man, you could just like get some skunk ass weed and find some seeds or something..$250 is pretty steep where I'm from, but hey man, if its $250 that turns in to you not paying for your weed for a year, then sure, go for it:jointsmile:

You could buy 1 single feminised seed for about £7/$15 and take clones.

Hell, NO, don't pay that much for seeds ! ... ridiculous, don't feed the GREED ... you can grow out F2's from cheaper seedbanks, save your money for better growing equipment, etc ... :jointsmile:

250 is usually for about 40-50 seeds in my area.

id advise getting 10 seeds for under 100$, and either mating or cloning em, your choice

Im with image reaper you can do good with f2s. If you are going to go and get them yourself then shop around and find some cheaper seeds man 250 dollars is alot of money for 10 seeds.:rasta::rastasmoke::pimp:

i wasnt very clear in my last response but YES it is worth it. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE HAVING THE ACTUAL STRAIN not some f2 knock offs. think about it this way these beans are prolly going to be supplying you with weed for years to come. make a good investment and get the real thing. plus ive only heard outstanding things about serious seeds. some of the best genetics out there word is on the street.

Im with RomDog on this one.......HELL YES it's worth it. $250 for a great batch of seeds is a drop in the bucket, compared to the enjoyment you will get off them

hmm well personally i dont like to spend too much of my money on seeds, but if there is no other option for you at the moment to get authentic genetics for cheaper, then its not so bad if you have the money to spend. keep in mind that the idea of spending 200$ to 300$ on a pack of seeds, is to find a desirable mother(s)/ father(s) and take clones from them, so you wont have to spend that amount of money on the same genetics again. at least thats how i see it.

Man that's a lot of $$! I mean I guess if it were premo stuff and and you don't have to worry about not getting them in the mail by going to get them then maybe... Because if it got lost or whatever that would suck... 250 big ones...gone... I dont think even a blunt would make me feel better about losing that :P

I've heard great things about Dr Greenthumbs' Endless Sky which is priced at $150.00. Thats the most I would pay for seeds.

To me thats a lot of money for 10 seeds and yes you can grow good weed with f2s. I purchased some nirvana WW 3 years ago and Im sure nirvana sells there f2s to make there prices cheaper for everyone to enjoy there strains. Anyway what I am saying is the female mother I sellected from the the four phenos that where present its still growing from the day I first popped it 3 years ago. I dont have it now because i was in a bad wreck this year but my grow partner is taking good care of it and its stiil producing great clones. I plan on getting it back and keeping it for as long as i can. You can grow good weed from F2s you just have know what you are doing. Im not going to pay 250 dollars for 10 seeds period I dont care if they are dipped in gold I wont pay 250 for them.:rasta::rastasmoke::smokin:

And by the way what is a F1. Its the original plant right?

Well If i drive to Mexico and get 1000 beans and pop them all im sure ill find some plants to be keepers and then they are F1? no they are off spring of another plant.So would that make them F2? F3? S1? No.. they are just more offspring and more beans.. . Thats all people.. All this F1, S2, F3.. I dont get it.. Grow beans and if you find keepers then keep them and smoke them and dont get caught up in all this marketing crap.. Thats just so seed banks can sell their stuff for more money..

The Truth is that to find truly unique plants you must grow alot of beans and then just then by pure luck will you find something special. Anyone can do it.. Just takes time.. I know that if i popped 100 S1 beans I could find a killer plant...If I popped 100 Mexi Brick Weed beans I could find a killer plant, and so on and so on...

Thanks for the help felloe growers! Serious seeds is very exspensive! the reason I'm considering paying that much is because I hear they have good beans the seedbank that has them is in canada.I would rather drive and get them rather than taking the risk of the mail.

serious seeds is the only ones I use. Quick germinating/outstaning yeild, love's the nute's.

I dunno about Toronto man....sorry....but if you're looking for an incredible strain then i'd go for Sensi Seeds Jack Herer. They're around 140 euro's but honestly you wont regret it.
