I live in Ohio. Should I avoid ordering seeds in the winter? I'm concerned that the cold weather could kill them as they are shipped. I generally order from Gypsy Nirvana (seedboutique).

Seeds are kept viable by storing them in the freezer. cold is a part of nature. The seed must survive snow and freezing temps to grow in spring.

The winter months are the best times to order seeds because of the holidays.:rasta::rastasmoke::pimp:

BigWeeds right ,
I like to order during the holidays too because of the crazy high volume of mail . = less chance of customs snatchin my stuff up .
