Aren't phototrons just kind of cabinets with fluorescent bulbs built in? Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil. Two different things completely.

Save a couple hundred bucks and build a box, mount some lights, a fan or two, and poof* you have yourself a phototron.

I already have a phototron and I am planting with dirt, what I wasn't getting was that hydroponics from my understanding is without dirt. So there is really no site right now for phototrons that I can find. But now I have a ? why are 2 of my plants @ the top tilting to one side? They are 2 weeks old and they vary is size of 8, 5 and 4 inches tall right now. Any ideas?

Not sure. Got any pictures? Need more info. Do you let the soil almost completely dry out between waterings? Too much water? Not enough? Are they merely growing toward the strongest light? Are you feeding them anything yet?
