Busted on Campus

Well here it is. A few months into the year and here I am gettin busted. So here's the lowdown.

It's about 1 AM and I cant sleep, so I look through my bags and my grinder and scrape up like, one hit of shake and kief. I pack it into my mini bong and walk downstairs. I live in a tower and behind it are staircases that are pretty well covered and pitch black. I rip my one hit, pour out the water and am about to walk back inside when BANG, theres a flashlight lighting me up and a dude saying "hold it". So security rolls up on me and calls the University Police. Cops get there and search me, but all i have is my empty bong and a lighter. They ask my room number and one of them goes up there with me. Cop says to tell me where everything I have is and I tell him. Luckily all I had was some more paraphanelia and no buds, I was dry. The cops didnt bother pressing charges and I'll have to deal with the school. All in all I guess i'm probably looking at academic probation and some community service. lol at least thats all, I hope.

For real dude. I think if they try to get me on possession i might fight it, because I had no herb on me when they busted me, there was none in my room, and the bowl was empty so therefore, no ganja to be found anywhere. i wont fight smoking it or having a bong, but any herb i had was up in smoke and gone before anyone showed up.

im gonna assume that you have resin in all your pieces in which case they can get you for possession and paraphernalia.

As I understand it, and I may be wrong, getting busted with a piece that is not clean (resin) will only get you a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, not possession of the actual drug. But I could be wrong, and it may vary by state.

What school? I went to UMass and the cops were way cool. Came to my dorm a couple of times and only confiscated my shit. No charges, no word to the university. Like I said, very cool.

yo heres what i heard. if you have a clean piece they cant do shit. thats why you can buy them at headshops and shit. Once it gets resin in it it is paraphenaila. If you have actual weed it is possesion

I'm pretty sure you can't get charged for possession, however, you can get charged for paraphernalia because your bong was resinated. You should be fine, check with a lawyer if they press charges though.
